“The Return of the Winter Frost" (Mar. 2004) In the pale blue light Of the rising moon Prominent in the night sky Mountains of ice come alive And move toward realms below To reclaim the bitter wastelands Ravens perch atop dead trees Clouds and lightning in the distance Funeral bells and the ravens’ call Signal the return of the winter frost From northern mountains Come floods of icy black The dark midnight sky opens wide On winds of doom death’s angels fly Surrounded by dismal moonfog The sun is frozen, never to rise As black storms from the north Freeze the world in eternal winter “Possessed by Eternal Shadows" (Apr. 2001) The answers to existence Beheld in ancient wisdom No way to overcome the pain In unbearable shame Enslaved to everlasting pain I kneel before the altar Open to the piercing daggers And the poison of truth The black flame burns within May the dark light burn my eyes Consuming all that I am The return of the demons… A malignant curse Feeding off of my pain Forever enslaved Unholy internal torment…
